Short-term
Volunteers for Israel/Sar-El Experience the lifestyle, culture, and excitement of Israel. Spend one or more weeks living and working on an IDF base alongside Israelis and other volunteers from around the world. Build friendships and memories that will last a lifetime while displaying your passion and support for Israel.
Jewish Changemakers Fellowship Changemakers is JFNA’s leadership development initiative for Jewish young adults ages 20-25. For college students, we are focused on helping serve as a bridge from their meaningful Jewish lives on campus to their next steps after graduation – creating connections and pathways to the Jewish community off campus. The goal of Changemakers is to provide young adults with a solid base of personal development and leadership skills, an anchoring in the broader Jewish community, and tools, inspiration, and connections to make change right now.
Semester
Nachshon Project: Throughout the program, you will experience Israel and explore exciting career opportunities through regular trips, Shabbatonim, and programs. These are led by Jewish thought-leaders, innovators, and activists from different backgrounds, representing varied social, political and cultural voices.
Masa Israel: Masa Internship places Jewish college students and graduates in a large variety of highly-coveted, exclusive internships with leading Israeli companies and government organizations. Masa interns live in Israel for 4 – 6 months and gain valuable interning experience that’s directly relevant to their industry.
Repair the World Service Corp: Repair the World’s Service Corps mobilizes adults ages 18-29 to invest both in their communities and themselves through the lens of Jewish values. This is a part-time service opportunity where Service Corps members will spend a minimum of 5 hours per week volunteering with local service partners as well as connecting Jewish approaches to service with issue-area education. Each cohort usually lasts approximately 12 weeks, but may differ per community. Service Corps cohorts are supervised by local Repair the World staff across our communities. Corps members are eligible for a stipend of up to $1,000 with additional economic access funding available.

Yiddish Book Center’s Steiner Summer Yiddish Program: In the Steiner Summer Yiddish Program, students spend seven weeks immersed in Yiddish language and culture.
Ziering Brandeis Camp Institute: BCI is an immersive experience in Jewish learning, arts, culture, and community offered every summer to Jewish young adults from around the world. BCI’s new 10-day experience was created exclusively for Jewish and Jew-ish college students. Each day includes Jewish learning, time in nature, expression through the arts, and self-care.
AJC's Goldman Summer Fellowship Program is designed to develop future leaders in the areas of international and domestic politics, diplomacy, public relations, and management. This competitive summer fellowship gives undergraduate and graduate students the unique opportunity to work in AJC offices in the U.S. and throughout the world—from New York City to Melbourne, Australia.
JUF Summer Lewis Internship Program (LSIP): The Hillels of Illinois Harriet and Maurice Lewis Family Summer Intern Program (LSIP) is an eight-week paid work/study internship program hosted by agencies and/or departments of the Jewish United Fund/ Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. This prestigious program has evolved to meet the professional and communal needs of Jewish students today – students who are captivated by Jewish community building and are interested in developing their own professional portfolio.

AJC Internships enable students to gain industry exposure and apply classroom knowledge to real-world work in a mentored environment. AJC offers selected undergraduate and graduate students fellowship and internship opportunities at many of its global locations. This program allows fellows and interns to make important contributions while participating in a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Adamah: The Adamah Fellowship is a three-month program for adults in their 20s and 30s that integrates organic agriculture, farm-to-table living, Jewish learning, community building, social justice and spiritual practice.

Jeremiah Fellowship: The Jeremiah Fellowship is a leadership program for young adult Jews (ages 22-32) who want to mobilize their community to fight for progressive change. The Jeremiah Fellowship is a five-month intensive, experiential leadership training program in community organizing. Through issue campaigns and public action, fellows learn how to think strategically, mobilize their community, and foster public leadership.

The Yiddish Book Center Fellowship Program offers recent college graduates a yearlong professional experience in Yiddish language and Jewish cultural work. Fellows spend a year as full-time staff members, learning valuable professional skills and contributing to the Center’s major projects, working closely with colleagues and supervisors.
Avodah: Our Jewish Service Corps places young adults ages 21-26 into a year of full-time service at leading nonprofits in Chicago, New York, New Orleans, and Washington, DC. Corps Members live together as a community and participate in weekly educational programs to deepen their understanding of domestic poverty and explore their work through the lens of Jewish tradition. The Avodah Justice Fellowship convenes cohorts of early-career professionals working on social and economic issues for eight months of intensive learning, mentorship, and community-building in an inclusive Jewish framework.
Eisendrath Legislative Assistant Program: The Legislative Assistant Program is a year-long fellowship for recent college graduates interested in Judaism, social justice, and policy. LAs are at the heart of every aspect of the Reform Movement's social justice work.
Service Programs (not-Jewish)
Coro: The Fellows Program in Public Affairs (FPPA) is a comprehensive and rigorous national fellowship that equips emerging civic leaders with the knowledge, skills and networks that transform them as individuals with the promise that they then transform their organizations, communities and beyond. With each cohort encompassing a wide range of communities, interests, ideologies, and experiences, the program shapes the hearts and minds of Fellows through multiple components.
Americorps: AmeriCorps is the federal agency for national service and volunteerism. From mentoring students to supporting disaster recovery, helping older adults age with dignity, and tackling other pressing needs, AmeriCorps helps communities across the country.
