Help Students Get Home Safely

Shabbat and other MCH programs may end after dark and student may feel unsafe walking home. MCH provides our students with ride shares to ensure they get home safely. You can help by sending us Lyft and Uber gift cards which we can use to offset this expense. Please use info@metrochicagohillel.org as the recipient address and we will use your gift to send students home safely.

Sponsor Student Meals

With everything going on at our campuses right now, students may feel uncomfortable or unsafe visiting campus dining halls. If you’d like to help provide them with some nourishing meals, you can sponsor a campus lunch using our secure, online donation form and use the “Comments Box” to provide instructions.

  • $180 - Pizza or Bagels: Your $180 donation can provide a group of students with a bagel brunch or pizza feast

  • $360 - Falafel: Your $360 donation can bring a taste of Israel to campus with falafel, hummus and shwarma

  • $540 - Kosher BBQ: Your $540 donation will fill students’ bellies with brisket, chicken and corn bread

Due to dietary needs, allergies and religious observances, we are unable to accept offers of home-cooked dinners and desserts. If you would like to provide snacks and treats for our students, you can purchase packaged items that have a visible kashrut symbol and deliver them to our office at 858 W Wrightwood, Chicago, IL 60614

Donate to Metro Chicago Hillel

Even as we see more and more extreme antisemitism at our schools than ever before, we stand confidently with our students. This is what Hillel is for: to keep Jewish students safe, and at the same time to maintain a vibrant, joyous Jewish community, on campus and around the city. Whether you’re a parent, friend, student, neighbor or alumni, we’re deeply grateful for your generosity.
