Laura is an attorney and Base Educator at the Luba & Bernard Friedman Base Loop. Prior to joining BASE, Laura worked in law firms in both Chicago and Boston. She grew up in Skokie, Illinois, attending Solomon Schechter, Ida Crown and Camp Ramah in Wisconsin.
Laura earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and went on to receive her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She focuses on employment law in her legal practice, and especially enjoys writing briefs!
Laura is married to Ezra. She spends her free time perfecting her father’s traditional Moroccan recipes, playing basketball and doing her best to keep the 1990s rollerblading boom alive and well.
